Wedding season will be here oh so soon, which means it’s time to shop for bridesmaids dresses. If you’re not sure where to start, I am sharing a few different options when it comes to styling your bridesmaids.
- You pick the dress, or two or three. Take your bridesmaids out shopping to find either one dress or a few. This can and will get a little tricky if your ladies are all different shapes and sizes. You want to be sure your girls will be comfortable in a dress you choose. Remember, they want to feel pretty on your big day too. For you.
- Pick a designer. This is always a really good option for the bride who wants to give her girls options, but is a little scared giving too many options. You can choose a couple different designers and colors to offer the girls or you can hone in on one specific designer. If you choose to go this route, Amsale and Jenny Yoo are a couple designers that have a great selection of bridesmaids dresses that complement each other beautifully.
- Pick a color scheme. Choose a color scheme and let your bridesmaids find a dress that flatters them and fits their budget. I do recommend ‘signing off’ on their dress choice to ensure there aren’t any surprises come wedding day. Some brides prefer to have them all short or long, so be sure to specify that as well. I personally think pictures look best when all bridesmaids have the same dress length 🙂
- Pick a pattern. I must say, I am loving this one right now! You can choose lace, floral or sequin & sparkle. Or you can have some bridesmaids in a patterned dress and some in a solid color- so pretty!
